Ms. Bailey is an associate in the firm’s intellectual property group, where she prepares and prosecutes patent applications. Prior to joining Moyles & Tremblay, Janelle was a Patent Fellow of the Global Patent Operation at General Electric Company, where she assisted in the management of GE’s extensive patent portfolio and prosecuted patent applications at the USPTO and other patent offices.
While attending law school, Janelle served as an Executive Editor of the Connecticut Public Interest Law Journal. She also served as President of the UConn Law chapter of the Iraqi Refugee Assistance Project, where she provided legal representation to individual refuges seeking resettlement.
Janelle received her JD from the University of Connecticut in 2014, along with certificates in Intellectual Property Law and Energy & Environmental Law. Janelle’s undergraduate degree is a B.S. in Biology, with a minor concentration in Chemistry, received from Saint John’s University in 2006.
Janelle is admitted to practice in Connecticut, and is registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
Janelle is a member of the Connecticut Bar Association.
