Ms. Beaudry is a Paralegal focusing in Trademark and Copyright Law since 1986 when she began her career as a trademark professional at Blake Cassels & Graydon in Toronto, Canada. Lise is was born in Montreal, Canada and is fluent in both French and English.
Since moving to the United States in 1993, Lise has worked for a small boutique firm in Syracuse, New York, where she broadened her skills to include US Trademark Law. Since then, Ms. Beaudry has served as a Senior Trademark Paralegal for a Fortune 50 company and large law firms such as Womble Carlyle Sandridge and Rice LLP and Kilpatrick Townsend LLP in Atlanta, Georgia. Since 2004, Lise serves as a Trademark Specialist at General Electric Company and, more recently, as a consultant for Moyles and Tremblay Law LLC, before joining our firm full-time in 2013.
Lise’s experience includes all aspects of trademark law and copyright law, including preparing applications for domestic and international trademarks, conducting trademark searches and evaluating search reports and prepare clearance opinion letters to clients; preparing international and domestic trademark prosecution documents including applications, responses to office actions, statements of use, affidavits, renewals, amendments, assignment documents and recording same and other chain of title documents before US and International Trademark offices; monitoring potential conflicts and infringements; managing opposition matters; coordinating and collecting evidence of fame and proof of use materials in oppositions and cancellation actions, preparing and filing US and International Customs recordals.
